Overview and
objectives
This course will help students to
use the email and scheduling application Microsoft Outlook. Students will
learn to send and receive emails and instant messages and to manage
communications and contacts using Outlook. Students will also learn to use
the scheduling component to arrange appointments, meetings, and tasks.
Students will be able to customise the view to sort, group, filter, and
search for items.

Overview and
objectives
This one-day course is designed to
help you to make full use of the communications and scheduling application
Outlook. You will learn to configure Outlook mail accounts and data storage
options and use advanced features to share and publish data. You will also
learn to use the online conferencing tool NetMeeting and the Newsreader
program.
Target audience
Those wanting to learn to use
advanced features of Microsoft Outlook, especially to set up mobile or
remote access and to use data sharing and online conferencing features.
Course
prerequisites
You should be able to use basic
functions of Outlook to create messages, contacts, appointments, and meeting
requests and to customise views. Use of a web browser and basic knowledge
of other Office applications, such as Word, will be an advantage.
